  3. XP must write some files to memory and then call them back, which it couldn't do, tried a new stick of memory and it is fine.

  10. Just be patient, and you will figger it out.

I have tried all the other options. Replacing the drive will take care of the first part of the problem. The error code is 4I had error code 4, and sometimes 14.

I'm not sure if this is a laptop only problem. I am thinking that it has something to do with either the hard disk or the RAM. Didn't get any bios problems or anything, but memory must have been on the way out. New PC freezing games unless...
