There is following error: SQL1159 Initialization error with DB2 .NET Data Provider, reason code 3, tokens C:\Program Files\IBM\SQLLIB\bin\db2app64.dll When I installed 32 bit version of DB2 provider there was another error I installed both 32bit and 64 bit db2 run time clients, set the target framework to 32 bit in my project, worked perfectly for me. I downloaded various other things from IBM's website all of which promised to hold the key. We let IBM remotely configure our server and now all works well and we must not put the ibm*.dll into our bin folders or it will not work.
