The problem is applicable for both 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows, normally Windows Vista or Windows 7. This trick did not solve my problem fully. whew.. Turn Off UAC ( user account control ) by going on control panel - click user accounts - Step 05. Or has anyone had experience trying to install JAVA. It successfully downloads the adobe reader but not anything else.

The system shows the new install but the software won't open.
