All works now. I have applied Cumulative Security update for IE8, which has this file name: IE8-WindowsXP-KB2618444-x86-ENU.exe I could not get much info from Microsoft sites or Google. I uninstalled the software and IE is running now. Click on arroow of the "Event Viewer" (Expand it).

i found the .dll that was cousing the conflict…. You should reinstall your whole internet explorer. Things are the same after resetting IE, Description A problem caused this program to stop interacting with Windows. This user needs ie 9 to use particular software for work.

Now you have the particular ".dll" file name which one is doing conflicting with iexplore.exe. So that we can suggest you accordingly.
