Install windows Enable Sata again! The bios sees the hard drive, but when you actually try to install the opsys, it gets thru everything until it comes to a screen saying that it doesnt see a i've built myself a PC with a Seagate 200GB SATA HD and Gigabyte M/B. They are still selling XP computers, thankfully. Should be sticky in the Vista/XP forums. Setup will load, hit enter to reinstall XP. It seems that gateway has stuck us with a piece of shit that is only compatable with windows vista (Which is not compatible with anything itself).
