The twin USB cable yhingie is to give it the extra "juice" for burning labels, and if that ain't enough it has an AC Adapter transformer, which was plugged in.All the I had spent about a whole day trying to figure out why this damn Windows XP Home kept giving me the ASMS error. But if you are having this issue with an installation and can temporarily put back your old system, this is a good place to start to try to fix things. Recovery console chkdsk /r, run Dell diags, repair install using SP2 CD first, then SP3 CD, cleaning CD, alternate CD drives, copy I386 and whole CD to harddrive (point to C:\I386 GREAT JOB & GOOD STUFF !!!!!
